On Sunday 16th July 2017, Midland Sailing Club will be hosting the Nowka Bais Bangladeshi Boat Race for the third year running. As part of our support for this exciting Watersport in celebration of South Asian culture we will be offering free taster sailing sessions. Last year we took over 120 people out for a sail and this year we are joined by TS Vernon Sea Cadets, Birmingham Rowing Club and B-Row to also offer canoeing and rowing taster sessions, giving people a wide range of Watersports to try for free. These will operate from 12-4pm. Nowka Bais is free and open to all the community, so come along and experience a little bit of Bangladesh in the heart of Birmingham and have a free go sailing too!
