How to become a member of Midland Sailing club.

Welcome!

Midland Sailing Club are always delighted to welcome new members. I hope you'll find us a friendly and helpful bunch of characters.

If you're interested in joining we recommend that you come down to the sailing club to meet a few people and see how we work. You can ask for a free trial sail with one of our club members or if you have your own boat come and sail with us a few times.

Good times to catch us are Saturday mornings for Juniors, Saturday afternoons and summer Wednesday evenings for races, some Sundays for social sailing. You can let us know you'd like to drop and arrange a trial sail by e-mailing the membership secretary on

Under 18's can join our junior's section who meet on Saturday mornings at 9.30am until 12. Juniors also sail with the adults during club races on Saturday afternoons and Wednesday evenings.

Adults can learn to sail by sailing with our more experienced sailing members and by taking the RYA training courses held at the club. 

 

Membership subscriptions are paid annually and are only £15 per month for an adult and £3.50 per month for a child.

To join you need to fill out a membership application form find a proposer and seconder from existing member's you've been introduced to at the sailing club and pass the form to the membership secretary, Nancy Gudgeon.
