Junior SEND Sailing Sessions

This session is for juniors from the age of 12 till the age of 16

• Participants will start sailing in the specially designed Hansa Access Dinghies, and if they wish, graduate to other dinghies as they progress. All equipment, wetsuits and buoyancy aids are provided free of charge
• Participants must be able to take instruction for safety reasons and be water confident (although there is no requirement to be a good swimmer)
• Parents or guardians must be present during the lessons and Free Taster Session
• if you do not want to sail alone, please also book a carers place too
• You will need a spare set of clothes and shoes you don’t mind getting wet. A water proof might be a good idea too
• Young people aged 17 plus are welcome to join our Adult Sailability sessions on Thursday afternoons. Please contact Jess Baker for details

As the children and young people progress and gain experience and confidence they can join the Junior On-board sailing lessons, held twice a month on the second and fourth Saturdays if parents wish
