This is a 2-day course split over 2 weeks:
Day 1 – 4th May 2025
Day 2 – 11th May 2025
This is our standard starting point for everyone wanting to learn to sail. Following this course, you will be able to sail a course in light wind conditions under the supervision of someone more experienced.
What to bring
We can provide wetsuits, spray tops and Buoyancy Aids if needed. Please also ensure that you have a towel, swimsuit for under the wetsuit, and footwear that you do not mind getting wet, old trainers or water shoes are preferred, no Crocs, flip flops or sandals.

| Minimum age | Anyone under the age of 18 years must have a Parental Consent form completed and signed by a parent/guardian – this must be handed into reception on arrival during registration, without this form participants will not be permitted to take part. |
| What next? | The next progression is the RYA Level 2 course where you will learn the skills necessary to be an independent sailor in light winds. |
